An excellent product at a great price.

At the price offered on this site, as compared to the price you'd get at your local high street stores, this headset represents excellent value for money.
It's comfortable to wear, with a good length of cable, and the in-line controls come easily to hand (they're also well designed and very easy to use, and the mute LED is extremely useful).
The sound quality is very good for the price point, and the microphone is surprisingly clear - in fact I wasn't expecting the microphone to be as good as it is!
Whether you are interested in gaming, VOIP, chatrooms, Skype, Second Life, or you simply want to listen to music, then you could do no better than to choose this headset.
The product has a quality feel to it, with a good design, and it is light enough to wear for long periods without becoming uncomfortable.
Take advantage of the bargain price and get yourself one today!
BTW, the other reviewer was quite correct in that there's absolutely no need to install the supplied software unless you really want to, but the headset works just fine without it - it's literally plug and play.

 Extremely good Headset

I bought these a while back when they were £17.99 and have been over the moon with them since.

10/10 for sound quality and clarity
10/10 mic pickup and lack of distortion

The reviewer who gave 1 star has been honest and fair with his review/feedback but i have to say this.. it's a microsoft item, don't expect miracles on a PS2/3 when the headset is designed for a PC.

This headset is very good indeed. Very comfortable, does a good job of excluding external sound, sound quality is nice for the price. The microphone is genuinely good - works nicely with Skype, and Team Fortress 2 and Second Life's voice features.

Feel free to ignore the included software - it provides a little bit of integration with the Voice-Call stuff in Windows Live Messenger, but nothing more than that. Without it, the headset works as a generic USB audio device - the volume and mic-mute buttons continue to work just fine.

 Quality - Whilst they work!

I've had this Headset for around 8 months now. I've loved them for all that time aswell, brilliant sound quality especially when watching Movies etc. And the Mic works perfect. But for some reason I am having problems with them now. Theres no physical signs of wear or tear on my headset and they have been looked after but all of a sudden the Mic is constantly cutting out and distortion when the wire moves... It's a bit strange! Maybe time for a new set.
