It was easy to set up this keyboard. It comes with a CD and instructions. The best thing is the software that comes with it which allows you to have an on-screen display of special keys you press which allow you to launch applications, search, Internet, email, Office or user defined functions and applications.
There is a dial at the top centre of the keyboard, which when turned lets you adjust the volume, and this also has a nice on-screen display. Added to that Play, FF, RW, launch and Stop, and you have a useful set of media keys.
The software also allows you to disable the 'Windows' key for gaming, along side other preferences. Logitech does not disappoint with this keyboard or the software. The keys feel smooth enough and are not noisy. USB only. It is good value for the money.
This is a superb keyboard at a superb price. It is fully compatible with windows xp and vista. it has a variety of functions including volume control and play/pause features. A note on how to install. Plug the keyboard into an availiable usb port and let the drivers install automatically. Then, when this is completed, insert the CD to install the other features. I had this problem to begin with =P.
It is also fully compatible with the PS3.
Nice soft keystrokes, nice and comfortable to use. I find I can type on this keyboard superfast and is also very good for use in games. Its keys are slightly raised than a laptop keyboard. Perfect keyboard for me and really cheap/looks good.
If you're looking for a new keyboard - cheap or expensive - this one is sure to impress any buyer.
Whether you simply need a quick replacement like i did or you're looking for a soft-response, nice looking, media keyboard - buy this.
