The lack of the DVI lets it down for me. I rushed into buying this without realising until too late that their is no DVI fitting which in my view would be worth the extra how ever much it is for the other acer which has it (you'll probably see it further down the list). Im now selling mine. If you want to connect your xbox 'n what not, then a DVI HDMI would be better than a VGA adapter plus you can keep them both connected and just switch so i would guess, which for ME peronally would be better plus its digital so their is more chance of future tech to be compatible rather than the analouge VGA, anyway hope ive been helpful and made you think before you buy like i should have. =D (comment if you agree or disagree with anthing i say)

This looks like an absolute bargain and i'm in the market for a larger monitor. Does it have built in speakers or not and does it have a HDCP enabled DVI connector so that i can connect my PS3?

I use this monitor with my Xbox 360 and it is awesome, I would recommend anyone who's looking for a monitor to use with their Xbox 360 to go for this you wont regret it, and not to mention 3 year warranty from ACER!

After much searching I decided on this monitor, it was one of the better things I've done.Good looks, bright clear screen with a glass front panel so no marks on the LCD screen,the operating buttons clear and placed in the right position.Very quick delivery and a very good price.

The Acer P223w 22" Widescreen LCD is THE best 22" multimedia monitor in it's price range... well, in every price range.

I cannot fault this monitor in any shape or form, the brightness, the sharpess (amazing 1680X1050), the looks the eeasy setup. It is definatly what you are looking for. If your thinking, well this might not be as good as that one over there? Don't question this monitor, get it as soon as possible.

this monitor is sexy. i bought it to replace my old big huge crt monitor and im amazed at the quality difference, i recommend this monitor to anyone, or if you dont want to spend as much money you can go for the 19" version. ^^ i love it.

I went from a 20,1" high-end Formac monitor to this cheapo monitor for the faster pixel response and higher contrast. Coming from an older high end monitor I only had two gripes.

1. no DVI (not a problem with a high-end graphics card with quality analog components). A problem for low quality integrated etc vga chips.

2. Some shades, esp the blue of a classic windows desktop, go deeper towards the top of the screen. This is typical of many TN screens but my last monitor did not have this problem.

Pros are wide angle, good response time, super vibrant, powerful backlight, deep blacks, quick presets menu, thin bezel, glossy/black screen surface and low price.
