This states windows only but I hooked it up to my mini (or any other Mac) and it's works perfect but you will need a copy of EYETV software as the disk supplied is "Windows" only.
Brilliant

Easy to install & really good signal when attatched to my roof aerial & has a really clear picture.
You can record any digital tv programs in a .mpeg format, which you can then transfer to other media devices.
not bad

decent price tho found it to be a bit quirky, when i start the device it seems really bad signal for 1 or 2 mins but once it gets going the picture quality is very good, hence the quirkiness. the software supplied seems a bit cheap, but bundled software rarely is much 2 talk about, as someone else said its better used with windows media centre.
Great product

This tv tuner is great, it works perfectly with windows media centre and is able to pick up all the tv channels in my area. The only downside is the bundled software, which is really terrible, and for that reason I would recommend using it with windows media centre. Overall for 17.99 this is a great deal and I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Does this work on linux? If so on which versions?
Thanks
This is a Freeview receiver
barnabear | 14/05/2008 | See all barnabear's reviews (2) »
In response to JadeStewart's question, DVB-T means Freeview in the UK (Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial). Therefore you should be able to get the unencrypted Freeview channels, subject to broadcast coverage. For these sort of tuner sticks, you normally need to connect a proper household aerial for reliable reception, but your mileage may vary.
Works on a mac

This is a great product, and can actually work on macs with some extra software. After reading the Register's "How to get TV on your Mac" article I purchased one of these with ElGato's eyetv software separate. It actually works as I wanted a TV stick compatible with both pc and mac - the mac version must just be the same stick with mac software. highly recommend - works great on my mac.
Good Tuner, Bad software
applejam | 27/04/2008 | See all applejam's reviews (3) »
It is good as a tuner and amazingly prices, even though software if bad, it is instantly compatible with windows media centre on vista home premium and it is very good and simple to use. Also tuner is much smaller than I expected and rather attractive. The antenna supplied is useless inside and I can realistically only use it connected to my roof antenna. Overall very good and great value.
Question??
JadeStewart | 25/04/2008 | See all JadeStewart's reviews (1) »
Would be really good if someone would be able to tell me, this tuner is it the digital channels, like on a digi box or only BBC 1,2 STV and Channel 4??
yourhelp would be ace?

Fantastic bit of kit, works perfectly, 61 tv and radio channels from an external aerial. Do consider buying a usb extension cable (about 3 quid) the device gets very hot after about 10 minutes. Not something you want sitting in your laptop burning away.
