great little portble laptop, boots up nice and quick has all the basics you might need for web browsing email word docs and spreadsheets etc.

in response to julies problem - i have had trouble connecting to routers with wpa encryption on 4 of these lapops, the solution for all fo them is to go to the control panel area, and look on the software and updates section for "wireless lan update" once this is applied try setting up the connection again and it should work fine,it did for me on all 4 machines.

I brought this for my 8 year old son and its fantastic, i now have a big problem i had to change my router from a belkin to a netgear as my sons have xboxs, the laptop ran fine on the belkin but after hours of trying to set it up on netgear i give up HELP. We are not useing a wep we are useing wpa and when we put in the key it just keeps saying pending and never gos any further we have deleted all connections and reset but still keeps pending has any one got any ideas please

we use these at the school I work at for special needs children ,it plugs into the network printer and prints in fact everything on it just works! after being stuck in a room with a Microsoft network this thing is a breath of fresh air no need for virus protection so it's really quick,so don't bother with XP
