External HDD Laptop USB 2.5 inch Hard Disk IDE Drive Enclosure

Recieved very quickly, opened the box, put in my laptop hard drive and worked a treat straight away with no problems.

Nice looking case with a little kit to help you get going.

Just make sure your HDD is IDE/ATA and not SATA and is 80gb max!

Definately worth the money though, BARGAIN!

neeeded to change laptop hard disk from 60 gb to 250 gb the old disk had 2 partitions win xp and windows 7. bought western digital hard
disk downloaded free acronis true image software from western digital site. fitted new disk in this enclosure ran software(choose clone disk) fitted new disk in laptop hey presto it all worked, fitted old disk in case now have a back up for future disasters or you could reformat it and end up with a free ? portable drive.
it will work with any size disk and windows 7 and you no longer get the screwdriver. super product buy it.

Great item for a fab price. My only problem is that looking at other reviews some people got a free screwdriver, I didn't. But I have loads lying around anyway... The hard drive from my old deceased laptop worked sweetly in this case and now in perfect sync with my Macbook. What shocks me is that I have been running it for a while and it only gets a tiny bit hot! Go Aluminium! :) Love the cary case with it via cutting a few hole in it, it is now perfect for carrying around college. Overall I give it 5 stars :)

This is a bargain @ £4.91. It comes with a screw driver in case you don't have one to screw your hard drive inside and also to then screw the enclosure together. And amazingly you get a soft pouch for when you're on the move. The cable are excellent quality too. Make sure you have 2 usb ports spare before you buy this, eg some older laptops don't have this. Obviously if you have a new pc/laptop you wont have any problems. This also worked with vista no problems. Buy as it is a bargain people.

Easy to set up and worked straight away. A good buy.
