BenQ G900WA 19 inch TFT Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor

Needed a monitor for use with a KVM, so it would be shared between 4 machines. Wanted something cheap with a small footprint. Using VGA only.

Bought the Benq as it was cheapest I could see at the time. Very impressed with it. Great picture and clarity even though VGA only. Am so impressed am thinking of dumping my 22" Monitor and buying two of these babies to dual screen. Just wondering if I could push myself to get two of the 20" versions!

NOT disapoited, works very well with my XP.

I recommend to anyone but may need a new graphics for the best results, remember this is 1400 X 900 resolution.

I have had my 17" TFT monitor now for a number of years and have been wary of replacing it. I have been looking at the positive reviews of the BenQ and was tipped off by a friend they are a good monitor as he had had one for a while. I am not a fan of big monitors and I was not convinced I would get on with a 19" widescreen but I decided to take the plunge and how wrong I was.

This is a great monitor made even greater by the £90 price tag. The build quality is of a very high standard and I can't imagine a desk where this would not look good. The OSD is littered with tweaking options to get the best performance and, for us lazy people, a very simple auto setup program is included in the software. The colours are vibrant and very crisp and only DVI could make this any better (get the G900W if you want DVI.) I was worried about dropping from 1024 pixels vertical to 960 but it looks great.
Overall if you are looking for a first TFT or widescreen and you don't want to spend the money then get the BenQ.

I needed a new monitor as I only had a 15inch, was not sure which one to get but eventually decided on this BenQ model. Was not disapointed. Great for watching films on, really good picture. Would recommend to anyone at this price.
