This is quite a nice laptop cushion and the hole in the middle is very handy. i never need to waste time hunting down my ipod cable or usb extension lead again and obviously it protects you from the heat of a modern laptop.

I would however recommend that anyone who buys this also buys some velcro. My Macbook tended to slide off and I was worried it would slip off and smash on the floor if i ever put it down on a table or something. With a single strip of velcro on the bottom of the laptop and near the middle-front of the cushion it doesnt go anywhere. Some people may not want velcro on their laptop but it doesnt bother me and i like the Cushtop so it works out well.

Its great for using in bed or on the sofa.
The surface is firm so your laptop's vents don't get blocked and cause it to overheat.
Liked it so much ordered a 2nd one for the misses.
Would like a bigger one with room for using a proper mouse in the future.
