Wenger Swissgear Hudson / Laptop Back Pack 15.4 inch / Blue/Grey

I bought this back-pack to carry my laptop to and from college.
The bag itself is made from very durable materials, and feels like it should last a few years of heavy use.
There are countless amounts of pockets and storage compartments, one for every device you'll ever own!

I would highly recommend this bag to anyone wanting to carry a laptop or any heavy item for a long distance as the weight of the item in the bag itself feels lighter on your shoulders.

I bought this bag for my 11 year old son to carry all his stuff to high school........loads of room for his school stuff, separate large space for his packed lunch, water proof zipped pocket for i pod/mp3/mobile with a headphone hole on side of bag.loads of pockets. it is very well made and my son says its very comfortable to carry

I'm a student at University and I bought this bag to replace my satchel style laptop bag, which was crammed full of stuff and starting to hurt my back when walking and carrying it.

For the price paid of this bag compared to other bags, it's excellent value. My brother recently bought a similar one from a PC superstore and paid 3 times the price. He should have listened to me!

Since buying this bag, I've only ever needed to take a single bag to University with me, in which I keep - My laptop, USB mouse, power supply, Xbox 360 controller (USB), 3 folders, 2 notepads, pencil case, lunch for the day and I've still got room in the back for text books and library loans. Even then, I've not used up all the storage... there's tons of pockets, even pockets inside of pockets.

As for comfort and sizewise, I drive mostly to University, but on Monday's I've got about a 40 minute round walk to another campus, sometimes on a bus if it's raining, and I've yet to have a problem with the weight. Picking it up in your hand, you'll feel the weight... but once it's on your back it's surprisingly light. The only issue I've had is trying to squeeze past a crowd and knocking over some papers. :P

I bought this bag to get more room for folders and books that my previous bag just couldn't hold, and thus was giving me back problems from carrying it awkwardly.

It's an excellent buy and I recommend any University or College students who take a laptop with them to look into this bag. For less than £20, it' even cheaper than those naff Messenger bags that everywhere else sells!

I have had this bag for about 9 months now, i use it for carting my laptop to college and to my friends houses.

This bag is absolutely huge and you can fit everything in it (i managed to fit 2 large folders, 2 large textbooks, 15.4" laptop, digital camera and camcorder in it).

There is a huge downside though, its not that comfortable, it hurts my back after about 4 hours which my last laptop backpack diddnt but i sould fit nowhere near as much stuff in it. Its not uncomfortable but its not exactly the best. Also because of the size its really bad on the bus (i have to take an average of 3 30min bus journeys a day) if you are stood up it bashes into everything because its huge, and when your sat down it doesnt fit between my legs so it has to go on my lap.

I now have 2 backpacks because of the downsides of this one but i can cope with that, this is still a superb bag and i would recommend it to most people. It only gets 4 stars because of the size.

The product description does not put into perspective the actual size of the bag, it has so many pockets and pouches. It expands to about 5 times its empty size to accommodate 2 laptops and all the other stuff you'd ever need. Also an excellent hand-baggage bag.

Awesome bit of kit, so well designed and built. If you need a laptop bag then look no further.

Really nice bag, well made and lots of pockets. I have the folowing in my bag with room to spare:
15.4" Laptop, charger, mouse, card reader, 25 CD spindle x2, folder, canon ixus camera & charger, Nikon D40 SLR camera & charger, External hard disk, lots of wires.

It is heavy, but thats a reflection on how well it it made.

I wanted something to house my laptop that didn't scream "laptop inside". As I had no intention of throwing the bag around the school playground or dumping it on the floor without realising the value of what is inside, I realised that what I wanted was a purposeful bag at a modest price. What a bargain I got!

It is precisely what I had hoped it would be: functional and exceptional quality.

Frankly, a bargain and I suggest that coupled with the excellent service that play.com affords, why hesitate?

I bought one of these a few weeks back and am extremely impressed with it. I was looking for a bag I could use to carry a large file for college in, as well as carrying lunch, drink, psp etc.. I am not disappointed. It fits a large file in easily in the rear section - you could even still fit a laptop in too. And in the front section there is enough room to fit a lunch box and bottle as well as my shopping on the way home. Couple with the massive amount of compartments - the top one fits a psp, mp3 player and headphones easily - this is a superb bit of kit for the price. And best of all it is really well padded so is really comfortable too. It also feels and looks like it is built to last.

A substantial, well made bag with loads of pockets, including one for your swiss army knife. The high quality comes at the cost of keeping the weight down, but it isn't excessively heavy. The laptop section is well padded and holds your computer slightly away from the bottom of the bag. The double carry handles mean you can move it around without doing up the zip, without the laptop falling out. It sits comfortably on your back, but I'm unconvinced by the airflow system. This bag is equally good as a day bag for hiking.

A very good bag at a great price. After telling me that I don't need another laptop bag, my wife now wants one of her own!
