It works very well but if you have limited space on your usb ports then this is quite large and will block its adjacent ports.

Bought new pc so gave the old one to my son.........he needed internet , we have wireless so bought this and i think it took longer to open the box than get it up and running. Fool proof !!!! Recommended, not had any problems at all with connection, my son paid £30 for a similar item !!

Right ok this adapter is ok for short term web browsing, i have bought two of these for different pcs and they both tend to overheat and drop the connection every so offen.

I suppose you wouldn't notice if you have 1mbit connection but i have 10mbit and i can only get 6mbit on average through this adapter.

I swopped this for an internal pci wireless and i can now get my 10mbit without the connection dropping.

The software is aweful, avoid, the drivers for vista are also dodgy i would advise getting them off the net.
