best tablet i had so far

| | See all forumdan's reviews (1)

I've had many tablets such as a slate and the scroll excell which the gadget show gave rave reviews. at 130 quid the scroll was great but now i'm buying this for 60 quid.......is this going to be a donkey product??? well lets start with the bad bit.....some apps like facebook can be a nightmare to tag names on here. you type a name and cant scroll through the name list'''but to be fair this could be an app problem. the keyboard is fantastic but it doesnt come with the english pound sign so instead we have a dollar sign $$$$
but...the keyboard is fast and responsive and i prefer this then typing on screen. the keyboard comes in a nice leather case which locks using a magnet and it doubles up as a stand. onto the tablet........
many tablet comes with android 2.2 for a 50 quid tablet but this tablet comes with the latest android 4.0 which is quite a shock, the tablet isnt the fastest when it comes to getting online but this could be down to the wifi speed so cant be harsh on that. the screen is very bright and sharp and the touch screen response is very quick. i downloaded blood and glory from the app market to really push the processor to the limit as its a game with HD graphics. the tablet handles it no problems. on the tablet you get a programme called kingsoft office....this is worth mentioning as its the same as microsoft office. you have word, excel, spreadsheets, etc....and you dont have to pay to upgrade so this tablet is really suited for work aswell as play. I am writing this review using the tablet keyboard and its a dream to use. the tablet comes with the standards such as manual, charger, headphones plus a spare screen protector which is nice considering there is one on there to start off with. for the price this tablet is less then half the price of my old tablet plus its updated to the latest android and comes with a keyboard. from what i have used so far this tablet is great and does everything i need it to do. youtube and bbc iplayer has a great picture and the speakers are quite loud. the only bnegative side is the battery. i took it off a full charge and aas soon as i turned it on it had 96% battery remaining but i did get a good 3 hours out of it streaming music from the internet radio and playing games and watching youtube. i have to say that this tablet really is a worth while purchase. money well spent

I'm 29 and have all the latest gadgets but going backpacking so I got this little machine instead of lugging around a heavy larger laptop. Ive got all the apps downloaded "google maps, facebook, paypal, play, viber" etc. Connected to WiFi effortlessly and pretty nippy little machine. Currently online to buy a second for my grandad as he has already been using it today and finds it so easy and fun. Cheers highly recommend to all.

  Surprisingly good

I bought this because i had a very long bus journey to go on and wanted to be able to watch films/play games on the way.
I didn't have particularly high expectations, but it came very quickly, the case is good quality, and they even supply a screen sticker to protect the screen.
It works with google play, skype, facebook, hotmail, you can use it as a satnav device, plus apps such as filmon work very well.
The only complaints I have are that the battery life is very poor and the speakers are quiet, but otherwise it is just as good as my mum's ipad at a fraction of the price.

  Great for the beginer

I bought this item for my 7 year old, I am more then impressed with it. It does everything you need and is simple to use. Normally I would be put off by cheap versions of things but was defo pleasantly surprised with this tablet. I would highly recomend this for all ages from children to the elderly. Also delivery was quick and customer services were very helpfull.

  Waste of money...

I loaded a couple of apps onto the tablet such as Facebook Ebay and the Dailymail but it really struggled to cope and the operating system was constantly freezing. I had it a couple of days and was thinking about returning it. It then slipped off the sofa onto the floor and the screen shattered! I Guess that shows how poorly made it is considering I've dropped my iPhone countless times and its still going strong after 2 years. The saying you get what you pay for is true.

Although being an apple fanboy and wanting an iPad, I settled for the 'cheaper' tablet got now, upon receding my tablet the very NEXT day after I ordered I was very pleased by first impressions, I waited a few days to make the review to test the product out etc and I am very pleased with It so far, it does everything I want, Netflix, YouTube etc and has access to the android market / google market

VERY PLEASED and would recommend to anyone and have done since
