I brought the 7" version for my 7 year old at Christmas. . It was rubbish and I planned to sent it back to the supplier. It should tell you something about the quality, when they said they could replace for this 9" bit not refund. It took me several months before I could actually be bothered to return, and when I did, and we finally got the new 9", it seemed ok... for about a day. Then it started running as slow as my mum, long pauses and crashes. My 7 year old cant even be bothered with it! He actually prefers playing on my old htc g2 / hero phone (without a sim) instead (an android phone that came out 7 years ago ish) dont waste your money, buy a galaxy tab or nexus kinkle... this is BAD dont do it. I dont think I could make this message any clearer.

I brought this tablet as a gift and it was great....problem being that two days after purchase the screen came away from the tablet ! I then emailed the seller directly and requested the procedure to return the faulty item for either a refund or replacement... I was told that they would not do this and I should take it to a repair shop and get it fixed??? Frustrated to say the least!! Contrary to the Sale of Goods Act the tablet I received was faulty and not fit for purpose. Play.com are on it now so hopefully soon it will be sorted. The actual tablet (when the screen was in) is great, really clear HD screen, fast processing with no buffering... great to watch a movie on or browse the net or play on android apps.

I bought this tablet about 2 weeks ago (c 24/11/12) for 92.99 uk pounds delivered as a development platform. I'm a software developer and I needed a device to test my apps on. For my purposes its been pretty good. I've downloaded a pdf reader , the Kindle app, a movie player ( all the usuals ) I've synced my email accounts and I have to say everything generally works well.

However there were a few issues that some less techie people might have an issue with. First up is the manual. Its pgeon english. Not very easy to follow. Secondly I had to re-connect the usb cable a few times before my Win 7 PC latched on to it and installed the drivers. (This lets you transfer files between the tablet and pc). Thirdly when surfing the net the browser froze a few times. Ithought this was a browser issue but noticed similar behaviour when testing fruit ninja.

Anyway for my purposes its a decent bit of kit.
