i was looknig for 2 months for a laptop and stumbled across this. I was drawn to it because its HP (the best laptop manafacture) and it has a good graphics card and 2GB RAM. and they all work perfectly on high settings! im just so chuffed and would reccomend it highly if you have the money. You may think oh yeah its rubbish its HP but on all the computer forums they say its the best. Plus it comes in a greyish blackish colour which looks better than the picture :P If you found this useful please vote!!!

I spent a good few months looking for a laptop that would look good, run well and play some of my favourite games. Every time the gaming playing aspect seemed to push the price up past my budget.

Much like the previous reviewer, I stumbled past this laptop on Play. I found it quite difficult to find reviews on the 'net but it did seem to offer everything I wanted. I guess you could say i was tired of lookin as I just took the plunge and went for it.

Very happy that I did! its a nippy laptop that looks great. It is a good thickness (not bulky at all) and it has some nice rounding around the corners. It seems to pick up finger prints quite easily on the lid but thats a minor quibble.

On the games front, the graphics card performs admirably. The games I was aiming to be able to run were Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2142 and Command and Conquer 3. These are the 3 I have tested so far and I am happy with the performance, Vietnam runs at 1024 x 768 with High detail settings; 2142 I think is notched down to medium but is perfectly playable, and C&C is notched down to a few low detail settings but again still looks good and plays great (and maps load FAST!) The only thing that is taking a bit of getting used to is game playing on a laptop keyboard, but I'm sure it'll be fine. I hope to get Half Life 2 running pretty nicely...but I dont hold out much hope for Crysis!

Very glad I went with this one despite being a bit in the dark about how good it is. Delivery time for it was excellent too by the way, about 2 days so no complaints there.

This is a great laptop for gaming!
Good memory and very nice processor for its money.
I can play counter-strike source on it also and it works perfectly. I recommend this!

I was just wondering, does this laptop have a built in webcam ??
Also, i would like this laptop for homework, games, music, pictures etc, would you recommend it ?

This laptop is great.

It only has a 1.90ghz tk-57 but it makes up for it in stability.

This is a much more stable laptop if you are looking for a basic and affordable laptop.

It outranks most of it's competitors, and it has a unbelivably good build quality.

If you are looking for a cheap but good laptop... This is the one to go for.
