SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive 8GB

Very small and tactile and to my surprise it loads 1.5GB two full minutes quicker than the 4GB Cruzer that has the irritating U3 software on it. The cap won't come off in your pocket and I highly recommend it. Annoyingly it was £16.99 when I ordered it and by the time is arrived the price had dropped to £14.99. So it's even more of a good deal now!

It's about time someone made a USB flash drive where the USB plug is part of the metal chassis. If you have ever had a cheaper flash drive where the plug is soldered on to a PCB, and have accidentally dropped a heavy book on the drive, you will know the feeling of desperation as you try to hold the parts in place, trying to download all the data off the drive before it becomes unusable. With a drive like the SanDisk Micro Cruzer, this will never happen. Just look at the damn thing! This is the only flash drive you will need for many years, until they start making USB 3 or FireWire 2 ones.

This device is very small which makes it ideal to slot into the front of a xbox 360 while other usb devices I own are too chunky. It comes with rubber casing so that it is quite durable and splash proof as long as the lid is on. The pulsating orange light will not make me give it one star less as it can quite easily be covered up. Cant argue with the price and is without annoying software so 5 stars from me

The price is good for such a product, and it works with Vista too, and it also has got a very high speed of transferring files. Worth paying money. Nice product overall.

These drives are small & light, the rubber casing stops any serious damage and I'm sure it would be splash proof (although I've not tested that yet); Gets a bit warm but doesn't affect performance; Encryption software is included on the pen. All in all, an excellent product, and on Play.com it just gets cheaper & cheaper.
