Top performer - I've just bought another

I got one of these a while ago and it's been on for pretty much ever since, often for days at a time - never had any problems with it (unlike other large storage media), so when a different drive I had went off I had no hesitation in buying another. Small desk foortprint and quiet operation combines with robust design to mean you can just plug it in and forget about it.

I was not very certain about items like this and it took me some courage and lots of hours in research within the publics reviews to gain my composure to buy this freecom item off play.com, as this then was the cheapest one around, i have an xp version note book and i also bought a new vista note book to go with this freecom item and hey presto it loaded straight away on both note books with me itunes music and file and folders no problems and it did not make an impression on the freecom space.
Summary - well done play.com, it was the cheapest and easiest item i have dealt with, i do agree with robwolfs review that there is only 931gb instead of the stated amount 1000gb but still it loads of space. Do not be put of by this - brilliant item!!!! A++++
Awful

Exactly the same as "NotVeryHappyAtAll" - I tried this on two machines, it started making clicking and whirring noises and then lost its connection... just ordered a replacement which is yet to turn up... wishing I'd gone for the Buffalo one which has now decreased in price!
