Have had mine since last December and admit with only 12Gb left out of 931Gb it does run slightly slower but nothing to worry about. Just don't move it when its switched on!

I felt like i threw my cash out my window! All the customers with the good comment were too quick to comment or used their drive for under a month,...because I know it isn't just me having problem with it after a few more weeks! `it actually completely stops! you hear a sound -- as if its trying to start --and switches off it self-- like an old car. Its so awful!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great extra bit of space

This is the 2nd one i have purchased for my mum as it's a nice easy to use bit of kit.
There is a bad review on here about a 3gb file crashing the drive, i had a problem with a 4gb file transfer and i contacted freecom about it, you need to format the drive to ntfs to accept single, large file transfers which is very easy to do and is not a fault, just a fact of computer basics.
