 Horrible!

Yo, I used to have a Netgear Wireless Adapter at 54mbps and sadly it broke. I bought this because it was very cheap. Big mistake..this thing is usless by all means. I have a 2 meg line and should reach 240-280Kbps download rate. I only get around 60-110Kbps..never have I reached over 120. Go for netgear! I always got over 250Kbps and this god damn Belkin crap constantly struggles to keep a stable connection..signal is always on low reaching a whooping 11mbps - 24mbps...and its mean to be 54??

I guess...thats what I get for going cheap. Do not buy this as its not worth all the stress ive suffered since I got this.

If you download alot...expect the signal to fail..always does for me.

 Rubbish, you've been warned

This is a truly terrible piece of equipment, I never get a good signal with it even when I'm a few feet away from the router. I also have a xbox360 wirless adapter which is as far as away from the router as it could possibly be in my house and it picks up a full signal so it has nothing to do with a bad router. I originally bought this for a student house and it worked ok because the walls were paper thin. As one reviewer has already pointed out, unless you live in a paper house do not buy!!!!

Had for 2 weeks, thought at start there was a problem but found out it was Virgin! Very good connection speed between 36-56, but maily 56. to get 2 router i go through 2 walls and a flr and signal strengh is v good. There is a stronger boosted usb adapter by Belkin if you need it.

 Cheap and nasty!

I've had one and a friend of mine also bought one and both of us have had no end of trouble. Avoid if possible, spend a little more on a better quality adapter, it will be worth it in the long run. Definitely false economy.

If you live in a paper house its probably great!

I live in a small flat and walls are relatively thin. My PCI network card broke so i decided to give the usb adapter a go given my circumstances (2 plasterboard walls and about 10ft seperate my desktop and the router). Sadly, its simplicity and compactness is its downfall and i cannot maintain anything more than a "Low" singnal strength with regular connection drops. Unless you want to sit next to your router (and then its probably more efficient to plug yourself in) i would advise you to get the PCI card instead - i didnt have any problems with it until it broke.
