I first though this router was brilliant, simple to use and setup, I even got a 2nd one for my GF... only for it to start failing on me after 1 year exactly. The connection drops off, wireless and wired, only way to get it back up is to reset it... just as others have mentioned.

Shame... I gave it 5 starts before...

If you buy a wireless router for connecting the xbox 360 wirelessly to xbox live you would have to buy the Microsoft wireless adapter(£59.99) however you can plug the ethernet cable from you'r xbox 360 into the back of the router for a wired connection and it should be fine.(My son uses he's xbox 360 on xbox live through a wired connection with a router)

Does this plug straight into the back of the 360 or do you connect it to you computer and if so then do i still have to buy the wireless adapter?

I had no problems with this router, at first, but after a year I am having to replace it. Along with 3 of my friends who all have the same brand of router. At first it works perfectly fine, but after a while, it begins to disconnect. You have to unplug it and plug it back in so it resets. At first it's every few hours you need to do this, now I am lucky if I can get five solid minuts of net access without having to reset.

I wouldn't get another belkin router, however I've not had problems with their other products.

  TIMES OUT

| | See all dgtv1a's reviews (4)

This router is a bit pointless. its always timing out and i need to constantly restart a 10MB download. Kind of pointless. it also interferes with my main PC when its plugged in. Its good if you don't mind pluggin it in and out and if you do not use msn because it will just time out (more or less what mrspink says about loosing the connection, she means timing out).
Only buy this if you are going to do web surfing or send emails.
