PNY Attache Capless 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive

Following the previous reviewer with PS3/Xbox problems using Flash Memory,

You need to format this Flash Memory (or any other) with "FAT32" partition type, by default this flash memories are delivered with NTFS partitions, not recognized by PS3 and so on. Just reformat in FAT32 and good to go.

I bought this after having zero problems with its previous model - the 8Gb. I only bought this because my previous one had a seen better days and the innards became loose. So I went with what I knew but if Im honest its let me down well and truly!
I bought this larger sized memory stick so that I could have space to transfer large files as my 8Gb wasnt sufficient any more. I now cringe when I see large files
It mentions that it has speeds of up to 12 to 14Mb but Im LUCKY to get 5Mb it starts off FAST at some silly speed of 75Mb but that is short lived! This however is only a problem when transferring large files in bulk but if youre just saving to an existing file (office document etc.) then this isnt a problem.

Im now looking around to see what else is out there that can do the job.

Not too sure if the USB i have is faulty but i have tried it on several PC's and its so slow! It takes an hour to transfer 1 video file. Completely pointless for me because i wouldn't wait around that long to transfer files

Great Price per GB, and seems well made. Physically quite chunky.
However write speed v.slow - 3 hrs to transfer 8GB via USB2 on my Mac!
Havent tested read speed yet

This is a superb piece of kit, which has done everything I have asked of it. It has also survived a ride in the washing machine without any problems.
