Great drive, looks good and quiet.
4 stars not 5 due to a) bright led and b) VERY poor packaging inside the box.

I must say i was first impressed with this hard drive as appeared slim and and being toshiba a name you could trust, after having the drive for less than a month it no longer works as the hard disc appears to be dead to the world, for the price i paid not impessed at all, further more i lost all my data.Thankfully Play.com have agreed to refund me

Just so everyone knows, once formatted every hard drive will lose around 10% of the original spec so this 1TB will go down to 900GB. If you get more then don't complain, the drive needs this as part of the formatting process. If you need a drive with a minimum capacity add 10% onto what you want and buy that then when its formatted you will be okay.
Hope this helps some people out.
The drive is great by the way.
