  Samsung NC10

I have had this now for 4 days and I'm extremely pleased with it. I wanted something smaller and more portable but still with enough power to run films and applications well. This is doing the job perfectly ! The build quality is great and the battery life is amazing to be honest. The only thing i would say is that if you are going to get one do invest in a memory upgrade from 1 to 2 gb as this does make a difference and will only cost you £18 and 1 min to fit !

All round a great purchase that does everything I want it to !

  Money Well Spent

I bought this mainly to take away when i go on holiday but since buying it ive hardly turned it off. Looks great, light enough to carry around allday and enough memory for loads of stuff. Other mini laptops n note books were all highly priced but this is very reasonable and as the title says, money well spent. So far i have no faults with this lil beauty

  A superb mini Notebook

Bought this little powerful kit for my uni work. It served me superb. I have MS Office 2007, Visual Studio 2008 express and lot other AV programs installed in this but still works very well. Its really comfortable carrying around. Batter life is amazing, no need to carry charger, whole day work guaranteed. its a beauty.

  Bargain!

I've only had this laptop a day and already I'm glad I chose it above others... and full size laptops of the same price. Everything about it feels quality and I quickly adapted to the difference in size. Basically its everything a regular laptop would be, but in a more compact size. Plus when you consider that you can buy and external DVD for £40, the combined price is a bargain and easily beats most regular priced laptops in the £350- £450 range.
Well recommended!

Excellent piece of kit | Runs Vista too!

I bought this a while back, unfortunately Play didn't have it in stock at the time, so I paid slightly more. It comes with Samsung Recovery system which allows you to create partitions, I installed both Vista and XP and they worth flawlessly, but I had to install some of the drivers again on Vista, but it worked perfectly, including Vista's Aero theme!

Bought this beauty about a month ago. It has performed flawlessly ever since. I used a Xover LAN with my desktop to install CD/DVD's to it . Although I tried using wireless at first it was quite slow. The battery life is incredible! I purchased the Logitech V470 Bluetooth mouse and that paired first time and ever since. Already had it on holiday. Far easier to cart about than my 17" Tosh Laptop! WIFI connection is very quick.

If you can live without a CD/DVD drive then go for this! You will not be disappointed!

What a superb piece of kit! A tiny notebook with the same HDD capacity as my Sony Vaio. Paid 1600 pounds 3 years ago for my sony and the NC10 is faster at connecting to the Internet. Can't get cable in my area so had to get a router and Net adapter to set up a home network. Now I can sit in front of the telly and connect to the Internet wirelessly. It's FAB!!! Buy a samsung NC10, you will not be disappointed I promise you!!!

Couldn't be happier with my NC10. Its quick, compact, has long battery life and excellent screen, with one of the best keyboards I've used.
Runs Office 2000, Google Sketchup 7 and Microsoft C# 2008 Express edition without any problems.
Highly recommended!

The best you can buy ***** stars

I got one of these as gift from my wife and it is without doubt the best notebook available. Believe me we looked into it.
If you need a netbook buy this one
These are fantastic and can be used for more than just surfing because of the size of the hard drive, it is very easy to set up and use.
Five stars all the way!

  Brilliant

My girfriend bought me an NC10 for a Christmas present and I must say that I have not been dissapointed one little bit. I have loaded loads of programmes onto it and it's startup time is amazing for such a little machine.

Edit: Not sure where the guy Ooops! Below is coming from, I have never mentioned a USB Stick! I suggest Ooops! reads my post again.

I have ordered from Play a 2GB stick of RAM and according to other heavy gamers this is a must, but for £11.99 from Play who can complain at the price of RAM?

I highly recommend the Samsung NC10 Netbook it is brilliant.
