This machine is so good! So fast and excellent for using Internet/iTunes. Also plays films better than my dual core vista PC!!!

Cannot believe how quick it is! I'm using the 1gb built in ram, but may upgrade when Windows 7 is out. :-)

First off it looks great and functions well. The 1.6ghz Intel Atom cpu won't break any records but is surprisingly capable for a low-power chip, just stay away from video editing and HD movies etc. 1GB RAM comes installed which does the job however it is easily upgradeable if you want that extra boost. 2GB RAM can be bought for under £20. The 10" screen at 1024x600 is big enough for web surfing and word processing. It's not ideal for working with big image files, pdf files etc however the VGA output allows you to connect to an external screen if needs be. The keyboard is nice and easy to use and the touchpad though small does the job.

All in all a Great little machine!

Good build and works perfectly havent had any problems. Easily the best netbook out there.
My only issue is the speaker quality..... Very tinny. My iphone speaker is better :(

Got this in nov its ace does everythin my normal laptop does plus it has bluetooth,webcam,etc its light weight n easy to use would recomend it deffo!!!

Build quality is great and I'm pleased I went for this netbook in the end over the EeePC 1000(H).

+ Excellent large keyboard
+ Battery life is great, I've been getting around 6 hours use.
+ It's faster than expected, its become my main machine now.
+ Multi-tasking is fine, I've been using photoshop, dreamweaver and running a wamp server on it with little slowdown.
+ There is very little bloatware installed when it arrives.
+ Lovely screen
+ Very light weight
+ Huge 160GBB HDD is extremely handy
+ Surprisingly I've been able to play some old/casual games like Half-life 1 and Peggle with decent frame rates.
+ Easy access to the RAM if you want to upgrade to RAM to 2GB (which is currently £17.99 on play.com).

(Picky) Negatives

- Not the best trackpad, there's little tactile feedback for when you leave the pad and start touching the case (but you quickly become aware of the limits and not notice it anymore)
- The travel case has no button down on the cover, but its handy for protecting the netbook whilst its in your bag (it won't protect your system if you drop it etc).

Overall it's a great netbook and in my opinion beats all the netbooks currently out there. At £299 it was an absolute bargain, sad to see the price has gone up to £329 in most places, but still worth the money.

Fab little netbook, great keyboard, no need for a cd drive or a dvd drive, just download what you need from the internet, open office is free as is Picsa for image editing, great as a second computer, you can copy what you do on the Samsung onto memory stick and transfer it to your main computer.
Great webcam that you can use with Skype, good that this netbook also has bluetooth for transfering files to and from bluetooth devices like mobile phones.

Just got this 2 days ago and cant believe the quality of the laptop plenty of room no need for 2 gb ram on xp not at wastefull as vista is. Good sized screen and keyboard

No cd-rom drive - it's hard to fit into a 10" netbook... ;-)

I'm considering buying this, but I'd like to know if it has a disk drive (ie: you can put CDs/DVDs in it)

Cant believe specs. And performance of this little beauty.already upgraded the ram to 2gb (from play.com)nearly as fast as my last full size laptop.great for the price.
