I got this program yesterday and I had nothing but problems with it. I could not get the serial number that came with the program to work; it came up with a 15 day trial every time I tried to open the program on XP Pro, the links was wrong/invalid on the enclosed flyer and also the CD was old and not up-to-date (I needed to download the update from the autorun but at first that would not work). I registered the program on the Acronis website and it still would not work. I followed the instructions on there website to convert the defective serial number that was on the back of the CD case to a full serial number and that worked but I had to reinstall the program! (with not thanks from the enclosed flyer)
You need to get the full serial first then you can insert the CD into your computer and use the full serial number from the internet otherwise this will not work and you will have to reinstall True image 2009.
To get your full serial number you need to go to the Acronis website - click on "Support" at the top - click on "More Solutions" near the bottom - click on "Acronis True Image Home 2009" at the side - click on "Acronis Product Stops Working 30 Days after Entering Full Serial Number" - then follow the Solution part, you don't need to download the "Acronis Registration Update utility" if you don't install the program intill you get your full serial from the Acronis website.
Other than that this is a really good program and it saves time if your computer fails (you can simply restore to the image you created and your computer will work again with out inserting your OS CD - like XP or Vista!!).
I rate this product four stars, if I did not have the problem with the serial number then I would have rated this program five stars. (I hope you don't have the same problem I had with the serial number)
