If you want to create gaming videos and upload them onto Youtube, then this is the right away to go to, Yes its does cost a lot, and you will need to buy other cables and may be a lot of wires, but its worth it, because do youtube videos, and wow, it really is hd, you can only record 7020p which is fine. GUYS IT Worth it. its also way better than the elgato video capture, as the elgato video capture card does not record in hd.

I bought the HDPVR over the Dazzle despite being much more expensive, but I think overall I haven't wasted my money. Once you've installed it it's easy to set up, use and record, and my gameplays look very nice in 720hp. The software with the PVR is also very good. My only complaint is that the USB cable included seems very short and because of that I have to go to quite some lengths to position my Laptop so it is close enough to reach the cable, but apart from that, this is a very well made piece of kit and if your interested in recording gameplays in the highest possible quality, this is for you.

I Have wanted this product for about 2 years now and ive finaly got round to getting it, There has been many times that I have been able to afford it but I always talked myself out of buying it because of its large price Tag, But as soon as you get it, set it up, you will realise that it is worth every penny, The quality Is amazing and it is so easy to set up and use compared to other Recording devices, I mean its so good that the quality of the video is actually better than the TV itself, Also the software that it is bundled with works perfectly and doesn't freeze when you finish capturing no matter how long the video is (Unlike the Dazzle DVC-100), The best way to summarise this product is, "You get what you pay for" and you really REALLY do, Not only is the quality Fantastic, The build quality is great too, And the device itself looks amazing, complete with the futuristic Blue neon light appearance it looks like the most advanced piece of technology in my room.

If you think this wont be worth your money then think again, If you want this and you have the money, just buy it, Because you can always return it within a certain time if you decide its not worth what you paid, although I will be very surprised if anybody isn't satisfied

I was initially sceptical about spending 150 on recording equipment, but I can say now that it was worth every penny. All I wanted to do is record Xbox 360 footage and within an hour of setting it up I had videos on youtube, it was that quick and simple!

There really isnt any hassle in setting it up, the instructions provided were clear and it worked perfectly. The recording software is easy to use and does all you need it to do.

I would also recommend buying an external hard drive alongside as videos can take up space quite quickly, especially on 1080p.

If you're willing to pay top dollar, you will get a top product.

ive had this for a few days now and all i can say is WOW the quality is amazing and well worth the money i had some trouble setting up but nothing major just me being a silly billy but when you get over it and sort yourself out its definitely a recommendation

I received my HD PVR this morning after three days. I've done my research on HD recorders and this in my opinion is one of the best.

The only thing I'm waiting for now is my component cables, so that I can record from my Playstation to my PC. I also need double ended cables to record movies saved on my Sky+ HD box.

Setup is very simple and took me no more than 5mins to hook up on my laptop.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a HD recorder.

Not the most techiest person so when my sons asked for one of these I was a bit reluctant to let them buy it due to the price. Anyway after finding it on Play much cheaper than RRP i agreed to buy one. I wont go into all the wires and that, all the other reviews are amazingly helpful in relation to the techy side of things, all I wanted to add to the reviews is that my 2 teenage sons set this up on there own in no time and think it is an amazing piece of kit and are never off the xbox recording their gaming : )

I recieved the HD PVR 3 days after i ordered it, i must say setup took hardly anytime at all and as i use a Mac for everything i was worried it wouldn't work but it seems like most programs support the HD PVR it does exactly what it says and records live tv i obviously use it to record gameplay and i am overly happy with the results so i would recommend this product to anyone! I have had one before, but had to sell it. But recently just brought another one yesterday, its already being packed cant wait for it to be delieverd this week! Iam driving my parents round the bend everytime i hear the door bell go i think its the delivery man xD
