  Faulty after 2 months

This mouse started out great but like others on here I have had trouble with the DPI changing. At first I thought I was hitting the DPI button by mistake but it turns out that sometimes clicking the right and left mouse button triggers it. This is clearly a design flaw which spoils what is otherwise a great value product.

  Great Value for Money

The packaging is a bit clumsy. Clamshell packages are probably the most annoying things to open, almost bruised my hand trying to cut through it. Front end of the wire was completely bent backwards which probably damaged it in some way. Had to make sure I didn't cut the impossible-to-see wire and didn't scratch the casing of the mouse.

If this is your first time using a bulky mouse, your hand starts to hurt after a few minutes of use (or maybe it's hurting after opening the packaging), but you get used to it.

Clicks are a bit loud and sharp compared to my previous OEM mouse but it becomes unnoticeable. No rocker on the mouse wheel which is a plus for me (hated slipping on it when trying to use the wheel).

Overall, great mouse for 11 GBP.

Update: Been a few months now. The mouse wheel has lost some grip and I've realised that clicking Left while holding Right tends to trigger the DPI button for some reason. Extremely annoying when playing games like TF2 as Heavy while keeping the gun spinning.

The grips have also started losing their grips and keep sliding off and leaving a sticky mess. Still a good product.

Compelled to Say How Awesome It Is

I recently acquired a workstation for 3-D graphics work which had come with a run-of-the-mill everyday mouse. It was too lightweight, not very ergonomic and it had a a click that felt and sounded spring loaded. The movement struggles with it. SO, I bought this Gigabyte beauty and I find it more usable than by husband's expensive gaming mouse. You'll find it has an excellent weight to it, somewhere in the median so it doesn't feel too lightweight. There is a dpi switch next to the mousewheel and the wheel is rubber and scrolls sensitively, and also presses in. There are 2 slick smaller buttons on the left side which enables stuff like Autorun in my Warhammer Online game, which my normal mouse doesn't have. The shape is more arched than an ordinary mouse and is therefore, more comfortable. Pressing the left button seems to take strain off my index finger and distributes the strength of the middle knuckle, top knuckle and fingertip to press it down as opposed to just the top knuckle and/or fingertip on my normal mouse. I instantly decided to start using this mouse for my gaming PC. I'm buying a second for my graphics workstation, because now that I've experienced better, I'm replacing the practically unusable mousev1.0 with another of these.

  Ok While it Works

Was a great gaming mouse initially for the price, but when it went wrong and stopped working after about 8 months, nobody wanted to know at Play.com ref changing it and Gigabyte pretended to care and said they would contact Play to see why they wouldnt change it, but they never got back to me. I may have been unlucky but am happy with my Razor mouse now and after over 2 years it is still working, you get what you pay for in some cases.

  by far the best

This mouse is by far the best I have used in years, I do animation and video editing so the switchable DPI is invaluable, and I didn't even know it was even invented! and for the price it makes other more expensive mice look like a joke. Works perfect on my 09 Imac. A MUST by for anyone sick of the white mice from braking.

This is my first laser mouse and im only just a MMO gamer not a FFS gamer. But this mouse is amazing, it fits my hand snuggly and thats great because i have big hands that tend to slip off other mouses and the such. Its great for browsing and great for ingame. I literally just plugged the USB in and i was set.

Its a great product and can suit many users not just gamers. The Forward and Backwards buttons are great to use and do help alot.

The rubber grip on the either sides of the mouse really supports it and gives your hand extra support.

An fantastic item, i would say Get this as soon as you can!

  A very nice buy...

The mouse is perfect for all your general needs, and more than enough for the casual gamer, the back/forward buttons on the side of the mouse come in very handy and I am yet to use the mouse on a surface it doesn't work on, with it's laser precision. Very pleased with it and it fits into the palm of your hand very nicely.

  Great very Pleased.
