I have bought 3 sets of these now and every single disc has worked, in my car cd-player, my laptop, dvd player etc... I dont understand the bad reviews on this... Maybe its your equipment boys! haha

Excellent Sony Disks, Works On Mostly Any Player

I Used To Use Disk Brands Like, CHOICE, VERBATIM & DATASAFE But, On Most Players They Had A Habit Of Either Not Reading The Disk OR Jumping Half Way Through The Tracks. With These Sony Disks It's A Breeze To Copy CD's Using Nero Ultra Edition & Most Top Players & Lower Contract Players Will Play Them Too. Hope This Review Helps Anyone Reading It. Gouldy

Haven't had any problems with these disks. I've burnt music, movie and data files all without a problem.

The disks have worked in my car, CD player, DVD player and PC drive all without a problem!

Basically, they work so can't understand the reviews below and can only think there scratching them or getting the underside full of fingerprints before burning.

i wouldnt buy these again givin the choice succesfull burns only happen around every 3rd to 4th time most of the time seams to get worse as i reach the bottom of the pile and my bin is full of dodgy disks. some times i get to the finalising part after a very long burn then nothing works

Sound OK but very slow burning operation?

I use a Lite On burner and for some reason they burn very slow, I used another brand since and no problem?
When done they sound OK, but the burning proccess is long and drawn out. I can only assume my Lite On does not like them although I have the latest firmware.

  Great value

Great value.

Just because they are sony doesn't mean that they are better quality as sony don't make many of their products, they are made or have parts made by another brand like hitachi.

They can only be burnt at 48x if your cd rewriter drive can write a disc at this speed. refer to your manual.

  NOT printable, but great value

For the person asking if they are printable, NO they're not.
Good value at £5.99 for 50 though.

These are good discs, used to just use BenQ which seem just as good though, i suppose these will last longer and Sony are a better quality, but these discs i dont seem to be able to burn at 48x, when using Nero it sets the maximum to 32x, anybody know what im doing wrong there?

Thanks, Matt
