Operating at wireless speeds up to 54Mbps, the ADSL Modem with Wireless-G Router operates on the 802.11g wireless Ethernet standard. This standard is backward-compatible, so you can use it in combination with existing 802.11b Wi-Fi networks. Your Modem-Router also features an integrated 4-port 10/100Base Tx Ethernet switch so you can connect your wired computers easily. This is my first wireless router so was a bit apprehensive about unplugging the old modem. But this really was plug & play!

Absolutely no issues with installation (Tiscali ADSL running Vista) after sensibly ignoring the Windows auto-prompt to set-up a network. My desktop is ethernet connected but my wifes new iPod Touch connected straight away to the wireless signal - the only problem I have now is getting her off it to do the ironing!

 PS3 usage

Hi Monkey, my brother has one of these I set up for him and his housemate uses his PS3 with it. I did not set up his PS3 (in fact not even played it yet, humph!) but he has had no problems I have heard of. Hope this Helps, Mark. P.S. the rest of the setup, port forwarding etc on this unit is easy.

 Price is Right but how bout the range?

Hi guys, has anyone had an issue with the wireless range of this thing. looks good, but I am hoping it will work in a big house. Wondering if I should have got the G+...

I currently have a bt voyager and keep randomly getting disconnected from xbl on the xbox 360 and want to know will this help as my current modem only opens 3 ports and the 360 requires 6 ports to open. I have already tried the DMZ host setting on the voyager and still doesn't work so need to know if this one will before i buy.
