It's not the greatest bit of kit around but this is one of the few wireless usb adapters that work with ubuntu 8.04 without having to download and compile additional kernel modules. OK for the price.
It's not excelent and the base is a bit flimsy but easy setup and connection. Out of the box setup time: Less than 5 minutes. Well worth it for the price.
My god I was FURIOUSE when this garbage arrived. I spend 1 hours rewiring my router and cable modem into the wall in my front room, (hoping that the USB adapter will work without a problem on my desktop) unfortunately when i opened the box, the USB Adapter extension cable was not included, and to make things even more worse, the adapter did not even power up in my computer, the green light did not even flicker, and Windows stated that there was a malfunction. I tried it in all US B ports and my laptop and still no luck. AVOID THIS ITEM!!!!!!
