Great hard drive and already NTFS formatted saving me some time (OS windows XP). Slight draw back (if there was a four and a half star I would choose it) as there is some fan noise but the unit looks pretty sexy and is also pretty quick too. I was worried that as it was sat on it's belly it may overheat but I've had it backing up files since it arrived (six hours now) and it's still as cool as a fridge.

The description states that this works for Mac. IT DOES NOT. I bought this a few months ago in preparation for University and now I'm here I discover it doesn't work on my MacBook Pro. I'm sure if you're buying for Windows it works fine
Despite the details showing this can work with Mac's, it cannot. I brought this based on the advert and good reviews, however it has been misadvertised and is not compatible with Mac's. Even on the packaging it says suitable for Window PC's. Very Disappointed.
got this working with my ps3 to store all my music and game trailer's work's a treat the glossy finish nigh on matches the ps3 piano black which was a bonus it's whisper quiet and just work's.
Im using my 500GB drive for of site backup of all my photos, music and apps. its just peace of mind knowing that if my PC loses everything it can be recovered, Transfer speed are normal so dont expect anything fast. but its quiet and looks ok, £49.99 i feel is an excelent price for a external USB harddrive.
