I have been a fan of the Saucony Jazz road running shoes for a few years but have recently taken to cross country runs over rough/muddy/hilly terrain where the road shoes have suffered from a general lack of grip. It made sense to give the trail running version of my favourite road shoe a try and I have not been disappointed - great grip and stability in the messy stuff, with the same fit and comfort of the road version. Not too bad on interconnecting road sections but the deeper sole cleats do seem to introduce some drag. All in all a great choice for off road running on uneven ground, coping very well with mud and wet grass. Recommended. Very good service and price from Play.com too!
