Predators: 1/4 Scale Action Figure Mouth Closed Version / Limited Edition

The first thing thats good about this model is the size and weight. Its one solid, heavily made model that seems like it will take a beating like the movie counterpart. If you're a fan of the original and very best version of the Predator films this is the model you need.

Good points are size, details, paint scheme, articulations and the toys he has. The face is really accurate and close up you'd swear its eyes are properly staring at you. Looks mean as it should. I have the large original alien and they pair up nicely. Both about as detailed and solid as each other.

The shoulder gun is good and the bone trophies around him are cool. It has a changeable right hand and the blades extend further than I thought they would. Very good. The body netting is real net and works well. Wish he had the medical kit and a Human skull to hold.

He stands well and doesn't hint at wobbling over. To be picky he could have been taller but thinner to be more proportionally accurate but nevermind. The Predators seemed to get shorter but beefier through the series. Original was more like an athlete than a wrestler.

The reason the review gets 4 stars is that there is no original face mask, otherwise it would've been 5. For the money it would have been a nice little surprise extra and should have been included. A voice chip saying 'anytime' or 'over here and the laugh would've made it the ultimate incarnation of this character.

In conclusion I'd say as a huge original predator fan or fans of the series in general this is one hell of a model and makes a great statue in any trophy room or collection of movie characters. Get hunting. ;)
