 Brilliant toy and replica

Brilliant toy, looks just like the one they use in the new Star Trek 2009 movie, it has speach from Spock and Kirk in it, but they say the same thing, which really does not matter, when you flip up the lid it makes the ordardny sound like it did in the orginial ones. (sorry for spelling) but this is a great toy! even though you dont have to use the Kirk and Spock speeching you can pretend to use it for your own mini star trek adventures!

In conclusion, excellent toy, great buy!

Pre-ordered this before the movie came out, loved the movie. When this arrived I was very disappointed. While it looks good the number of sounds is pretty pathetic. 2 movie soundbites and the open/close sound we all love. That's it. You can buy a Star Trek in Your Pocket for half the price that does more. Given the price I would have hoped for much more sounds, maybe even a brief record/playback function.

If it's for a kid I'd say - go buy a phaser instead. If it's just for ornamental/prop use I'd say wait until it's in a sale. Not worth the full whack.
