LeapFrog: Leapster/LeapPad Explorer Game - Mr Pencil's Learn to Draw And Write

I bought my 3 year old daughter the leapster explorer and this game for christmas. I wasn't too sure whether it would be above her understanding as the game is for ages 4+ but she's taken to it brilliantly. Especially as she's never used video games before. It's really awakened a desire in her to learn to write, draw pictures and colour. She has 1 other game for the leapster but this is by far her favourite, and I am going to be buying the expansion pack for it. Highly reccommended for all ages!

excellent game i brought this for my 3 year old son as other games for the leappad looked quite hard but this is fantastic it starts off nice and easy with drawing a straight line and combines drawing colouring and letter writing so thy dont get bored

This was bought for my 3yr old daughter for Christmas and she is able to manage it very well although it is targeted for age 4+. It is one of her favourite games (along with Dora the Explorer) as it has enabled her artistic side to come out. She also enjoys the lessons part of the game which teaches budding artists about colours shapes and drawing skills including horizon lines and animation. She is learning pencil control skills, how to write letters and numbers and how to draw through fun and play without her realising it. I would definately recommend this game. I have bought the expansion pack for the game also.
