My Keepon

I, like most people, was a bit naive. Saw the video's, wanted one, saw that they started making them, bought one... And i'm massively disappointed. It act's nothing like the video, not at all smooth, just jerks about for a few seconds, then pauses, then jerks about again. I think it has about the same tech as those noise activated flowers from yesteryear. Not great, not recommended.

I had my Keepon on preorder for months and when he finally arrived I loved him! He dances great, and is so sweet to interact with... If I had to say a downside it would be the amount of batteries you require, mine are already going flat, and he gets a bit confused then it seems, but I have had him on quite a lot! Plus you can use an adapter which I think I will buy for him to ensure he's always on top form :-)

I have seen on other sites this getting a slating, but I think it is the coolest gadget toy this Christmas. Plus this price is the best on the Internet . Its funny dances are so much better than ant dancing flower, it actually listened to dnb track and it was so cool watching it nod it's head to the beat. This is a must have at this price. You won't regret buying it for some Christmas fun.!!!

Best thing i've bought in a long time. It keeps kids entertained while the music is playing.

The product is nothing like the video on their website. It took me 7 or 8 tries to get it to dance to I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers, which has a strong tempo as recommended by the FAQ. It need a very loud speakers or speakers in front of it for it to hear the sound. And a full 30 sec after the end of the song, it is jerking to the old song, even when the new song is playing. Also it is supposed to count the number of taps I tap on its head but it never do that. Hopefully V2.0 will come with line in so it do not need to stop to listen to the song (the sound of its own motors will drown out the music) and comes with built in speaker(s).
