Scooter Ball Hamster

I was lucky enough to get the "white with brown" coloured hamster from Play.com - full marks for their well packaged delivery.

Note - use NEW batteries when you first use this - batteries that have been partly used won't let the little guy show you his amazing speed.

I am slightly nervous about "cracking" the plastic ball when pressing it to open or close it up - it doesn't look THAT strong.

Also there is no way of turning the hamster on or off while IN the ball - so there is a lot of opening/closing.

You will also need a "Jewellers" screwdriver (a + head, not a - head) - as the 2 screws you need to undo to replace batteries are very small - you can get those for under 2 pounds (for a pack of 6) off the internet if you shop around.

The cute chap is very clever - if his ball bumps into something, he will roll it to somewhere else.

5 out of 5 stars easily - and at just 5 pounds, a STEAL from Play.com - I am considering buying a few more!
