If your child loves moshi monsters like mine then they will love this. However be warned, supposedly all the talking moshi's have the same bar code so if you order this you might not get a Katsuma (probably depends on the trader). We got a Luvli and I ended up going elsewhere to get a Katsuma. Also wouldn't really call the noises they make "talking" just funny little monster noises.
