The Star Wars Force Trainer allows you to control a Jedi Training Remote with your mind. The innovative wireless headset reads and interprets your brainwaves. The deeper your concentration, the greater your ability to move the Jedi Training Remote. Jedi Master Yoda guides you through 15 levels of Force training as you move from Padawan to the highest rank of Jedi Master. The set features Star Wars sound effects and exclusive Yoda dialogue.

Can this be real? Yes! Utilising advanced dry neural sensor technology, the Star Wars Force Trainer headset interprets your brainwaves. This information is translated into a digital signal and sent to the Training Tower, causing the Jedi Training Remote to rise and fall.

The force can have a strong influence on the weak mind

Don't be fooled this could be just a gimic! Definatly not worth the price of this much! Its a light plastic toy tower with a headset which I would estimate should be worth no more than £50. When using this, you don't always have to put much thought into it. The ball (ping-pong) just floats from the air motor at random times and hights. You can even have your mind off it and do something else with the headset still on you and the ball would be going up and down with Yoda going 'wohoo! doing well, you are'. As the difficulty goes up, its harder to keep the ball at the level you're supposed to float it at. Also the ball can get stuck at the bottom and not float when its supposed to and you will still be succeeding, so you have to shake the tower abit to get it up. So basically this is a plastic tower with a built-in fan that blows air up for a ping-pong ball and activates either by itself or signals from the headset which I do not yet understand how you trigger them. Even when you channel your mind differently or concentrate at different levels it will not respond accordingly. If you wanted the ball to go up and down instantly at your desire it will not.

 I love it! Great Buy!

Top 100 Toys Reviewer

Bought this for the my 4 year old son who is a massive Star Wars / Clone Wars fan as well as my daughter (7) who just loves gadets. I gotta say they love it to bits. Watching the concentration on their faces as the ball moves and then seeing the joy when they open their eyes means its worth every penny.

We recently had an a gathering of family and friends and I produced the trainer which everyone had a laugh and go of so it's also a great party gadget. It's up there with Buzz and Guitar Hero for family fun.

Not sure of the lastability but I can see it still been used by our younger members of the family when they get older so it will be in my family for a long long time (major Star Wars fan here).

Great buy!

Well worth it at the new low price!

Firstly let me offer a quick and concise rebuttal on some of the comment below, yes this is a toy, but yes the technology involved is real. Essentially like all technology, both hardware and software come down rapidly in price, now a dry sensor that can monitor brainwaves is available cheaply enough to put into toys, gaming gadgets etc.

Think about how a talking action figure went from 80 quid to 8 quid seemingly overnight.

The Star Wars Force Trainer uses a combination of alpha and beta brainwaves, a mix of relaxation and concentration. As such you will sometimes find the ball moving up while you're looking out the window or watching the television. The point is that when you face the tube and focus you can make the ball rise to levels 1, 2 and 3. What's more the more you play and the better you get at it you'll be much quicker reaching those levels.

I agree with the sentiment below that this is a great party gadget, everyone who comes to your house will want a go, although it should be noted that only the men will arrive at your door in a brown hessian robe!

Top product, now finally available at a price that means anyone can buy. Chuck out Trivial Pursuit, chuck out the dance mat, Star Wars Force Trainer is the new gadget of choice for a party. Plus the kids will play with it when the grown ups all have hangovers the next morning!
