Toy Story: Buzz Lightyear Deluxe Film Replica

My son was over the moon when he got his Buzz at Christmas, but there was a problem with one of the wings not opening properly, which was very disappointing.

I have to applaud Play.com for the quickest and easiest exchange of a faulty item EVER. We posted back our Buzz on Tues and had a brand new Buzz arrive on Friday. Well done Play.com for excellent customer service, a rare quality these days.

The new Buzz is working well and the kids absolutely love it, especially the talk back feature and his moving head. Genius.

we own 2 buzz lightyears ,the replica and the cheaper version around 20-30quid. and i have to say the cheaper one is much better
the replica has alittle more gadgets but has completely fallen apart the wings dont open the stickers are peeling off and the visor has broken.he is a heavy toy that can't really stand up.i suggest buying the cheaper one as he has lasted well he's not too heavy for little people and he stands alot better ..the replica one is more of a collectors/sit on shelf toy.

This toy is amazing my son loves it. I bought it last Christmas for him and he's still playing with it. Its just like the movie buzz. He also interects with your voice on play mode. Great purchase at this price I paid 50 pound for it when it first came out.

His laser sounds are nearly there, wings flip out the correct way only thing is there is no karate chop action!!!

I couldn't be happier with this definitive version of Buzz Lightyear. The only way they could make this better is if they gave it a few more points of articulation to allow more poseability so that it's less of a toy and more of the character - and maybe that's still yet to come, who knows. I thinks this is one incredible toy because it just looks fantastic.

If it's the price you're afraid of, Thinkway has provided many other options for those who want a Buzz Lightyear toy in the same movie scale, but with less of the frills. But if you love the films as much as I do, then the only way to go is with this version right here.

Its right that this should be described as a film replica, the attention to detail is amazing. It has amazing articulation and can be posed easily. The lights and sounds are excellent and the 2 modes, Toy and Buzz add to the charm. In Toy mode he is just Buzz Lightyear, But in Buzz mode he interacts and his head even moves. The best thing are the wings they pop out to provide a true "impressive wing span" and even have the blinking lights.

Finally the box, they even did a great one on that, you won't want to throw it away, once you open him up you can up the wings on it just like in the film. Great!
