Bananagrams Word Game

I hate scrabble as I find it can be slow with some people (my dad for example!) Also it's hard to take board games on holiday as they end up being very bulky. However bananagrams is just so quick and fun, which makes me love it :) and it's just so compact. Everyone can join in, even had my grandparents playing and laughing!

We bought this game to take on holiday last year and it's been an enormous success with most of my family now having it. (Just buying another one for my niece!) I find scrabble rather boring - especially if you have someone who is slow to make their word. Bananagrams removes the boredom element, you don't have time to be bored. Quite a hectic game at times, with shouts of Peel, Split etc., but it all adds to the fun. Speeds your brain up and helps with word formation. My 6 year old daughter enjoys it too - although we have to slow things down a bit. Best game to hit the shelves in years. If you haven't got one, buy it now.

Excellent game as its educational and good fun. I agree with the review above as its very similar to scrabble but without having to wait for other players as you all have your own letters and make your words with them only so nobody gets bored

Excelent game you dont need 2 players, you can play it on your own it just takes a bit longer to play time wise. Another great thing is if your stuck you can change your words around as & when you wish.

it's just a great game! you all start with the same number of tiles, and have to make you own mini scrabble board as fast as you can using all your letters! as soon as you get all your all your pieces out on your mini scrabble board, you shout "peel!" meaning you AND all the other players (who may still be struggling with the pieces they have already) all have to take another tile from the centre! If its a letter you cant fit on your scrabble board already, you can simply change your WHOLE BOARD! :D its just soo much fun! no waiting for people to take their go, but all the fun of scrabble! :)
