The army packs are a great idea

You can't just stop at one pack: once you buy one, you HAVE to buy more! Whether it's for completion sake, or to army build, these figures are OUTSTANDING. Kids will have great fun swapping duplicate figures with friends, while adults will just enjoy having mini Doctors, Amys and Daleks.

One niggle: the figure ratios are a tad off. The Doctor is the most common figure, meaning that you are more likely to buy multiple Doctors with the blind bags. Making an army builder such as the Cyberman or the Dalek drone the most common figure wouldn't have been so bad, as who wants an army of 11th Doctors? If this range is designed for kids to swap with friends, swapping can only go so far if everyone has multiples of the same figure!

Apart from this, the range is cute, with great attention to detail for such small figures. They make the Lego figures look outdated and twee. Hopefully Character will expand the range into other areas than Doctor Who and HM Forces.

Roll on series 2 and the big construction sets!

oh my gosh shore there not the same shape as lego but yes this rocks and with the new cyber conversion set and dalek factory we have interactive sets based on the game amazing and the new 11 doctors will loook greatnext to my new 11 doctors figure set for it is a mini version and this is one of the only places to get theses mystery packs

It has finally happened, the Doctor is now in Lego sized fun. The figures are fantastic even if the sets lack very much detail. However kids everywhere will love having their own time lord and Dalek in their pocket. Bring on the Lego Daleks!!
