What are Rakuten SuperPoints?

Rakuten SuperPoints is our loyalty programme, offering customers the chance to earn SuperPoints as you shop on our website. These SuperPoints can then be used as a payment method to purchase products from across the site.

How do I earn SuperPoints?

Every time you shop on our website, you will earn SuperPoints on your purchases. You will earn one SuperPoint for every £1 spent. SuperPoints are not earned on the purchase of gift vouchers.

What is a SuperPoint worth?

One SuperPoint is then worth 1p to spend on products across the website

How Do I SpendPoints?

SuperPoints will be visible on the checkout pages and can be selected as a payment option. It will be possible to pay for all or a part of any purchase using SuperPoints.

Do SuperPoints expire?               

SuperPoints expire 180 days after your last purchase on the Play.com website.  Every time you buy a product the expiry date is renewed and all of your standard SuperPoints are valid for another 180 days.

When can I use my SuperPoints?

SuperPoints become active 14 days after we receive payment for the item you ordered. Prior to this date SuperPoints can be seen as Pending or Provisional in your account. SuperPoints can only be used to make a purchase when their status is Active.

I returned an order, what happens to my SuperPoints?

SuperPoints will be deducted from your account when the product is returned to Play.com or the Merchant. If the payment was made using your SuperPoints, then your SuperPoints will be refunded.

My order was cancelled, what happens to my SuperPoints?

If your order is cancelled, SuperPoints can not be earned on that order. You will also be refunded any SuperPoints that you spent on the purchase.

Why are my SuperPoints pending for so long?

If you have pre-ordered a product, payment will not be taken until the date the product is available for dispatch. Once you have been charged for the product you will earn the SuperPoints which you can spend 14 days from the payment date.

Do I earn SuperPoints on pre-orders?

You will earn SuperPoints on pre-order purchases. You will earn SuperPoints on the final amount you pay after any price reductions we give you with our Pre-order Price Promise.

Where can I find how many SuperPoints I have?             

You can view your SuperPoints balance on the SuperPoints Statement Page within your Account Page.

SuperPoints aren't showing up on my SuperPoints statement?

SuperPoints earned are all shown on your SuperPoints statement on your Account Page. If have any queries about the statement please call our customer services team on 0845 800 1020.

Where can I spend my SuperPoints?

SuperPoints can be spent on all products (with the exception of gift vouchers) within the Play.com website.

How do I sign up for SuperPoints?

Once you have created an account on the Play.com website, you will be able to start purchasing products and earning and spending SuperPoints.

Can I use SuperPoints and other payment methods at the same time?

Yes, SuperPoints can be used simultaneously with other payment methods.
