The game is not bad at all, I also play WOW and I saw a lot of similarities between the 2 games. Hellgate copies WOW a lot, specially on the UI. The quests are very very repetitive but I don't care because what drives me on to play is the loot and levelling. I do wish I had the special event patches such as the Halloween and the Guy Fawkes as you get some new shiny items including a flaming skull helmet. Not sure I wanna play this game online as I have other proper mmorpgs for that.

I got a new PC which handles the game at max settings, what an eye candy it is:) probably not as good as Assassin Creed and other new games but it does look nice. My old PC got 3500 in 3DMark06 and the new one 15000 so yeah big difference at how the game looks and handles. The game never crashed on me on either machines (it did freeze on my old PC but only because my frame rate was probably 0 due to all the mobs and effects, had to turn down some of the settings), I never run into the getting stuck… more »

I made 1 character from every class to try them out. Got all of them to between level 15 and 20 without any problems on my old PC and took over on new PC.

If you don't mind the grinding fest and you love loot grabbing and making your character blingy and even more blingy then give it a go. Wait until it goes down in price, if you look around you can grab it at under £20 which is worth it. Maybe some people can comment on the online aspect.

Reading some of the above reviews seem a bit harsh, i'm running a nVidia 6800 gfx card so not amazing and quite an old card and i thought the graphics were really good. Yes the game has a few glitches but what else can you expect, after a while they will most likely be patched out. I find this game quite addictive and fun to play. Right from the start you can get some decent looking weapons like green glowing swords etc etc. Although there was something that bugged me a little, and that was i couldn't help feeling that it was a "test" game to see how people would respond to quite a highly developed "mmorpgfps" and it just seems a little unfinished or they could of added something more, but it's hard to explain. Anyway overall for £20 i think it was well worth it and is a very good game to play. Also want to say the game runs perfectly… more »

Also want to say the game runs perfectly smooth on my computer-2.2ghz dual core, 1gig ram, nVidia 6800 gfx card so an ok PC not great and it runs fine so i'm happy :)
