All items are dispatched same day if ordered before 3.00pm (excluding weekends and bank holidays) We offer FREE postage to the UK by Royal Mail 2ndClass Business Post as standard on all items. You can also choose to have your order sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded or Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed for an additional charge. Please Note : Royal Mail 1st Class and Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed both require a signature on delivery. Charges vary depending on item/items purchased and can be selected via the `Choose a delivery option', where the cost will be clearly displayed.
***CHRISTMAS DELIVERY*** THE LAST ROYAL MAIL POSTING DAY FOR 2ND CLASS (THIS IS THE FREE POSTAGE SERVICE WE USE) IS WEDNESDAY 18TH DECEMBER. THE LAST ROYAL MAIL POSTING DAY FOR 1ST CLASS IS FRIDAY 20TH DECEMBER (YOU WILL NEED TO SELECT THE 1ST CLASS OPTION IN YOUR BASKET) WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROCESS ORDERS AND DISPATCH ITEMS UP UNTIL 24TH DECEMBER, HOWEVER WE CANNOT GUARANTEE PRE-XMAS DELIVERY UNLESS THE ABOVE POSTAGE DATES ARE FOLLOWED.
- When will I receive my item ?
Depending on which delivery option you have selected, please see below for expected delivery times.
Royal Mail 2nd Class - allow 3-5 working days
Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded - allow 1-2 working days
Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed - next day before 1pm
Please Note : We are not responsible or liable for late deliveries which include any of the following. Acts of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Dispute, Flood, Drought or any other cause beyond the control of Hosiery-Direct-UK Ltd.
- I have not received my item ?
If your item has not arrived (allowing for the timescales of your selected delivery option above) please email us within reasonable time through your order history on Play.com. We will endeavour to track your item, but assuming the item is lost, we will send out a replacement once 15 days from date of original order have elapsed, or issue you a full refund if you would rather.
- The item I have received is damaged/faulty ?
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, once again please email us immediately to advise us. We request that you return the item, which will enable us to investigate further how the fault or damage has occurred. Once the item is received we will refund you the full cost of the item along with the postage you have suffered to return it.
- I have ordered the wrong size/colour or item and wish to exchange ?
If you wish to exchange your item, please email us within reasonable time and advise the type of exchange you would like. We will either request you return the incorrect item (the cost of postage to be paid by you) and we will send out a replacement at no further cost to yourself or if time is of the essence, we will advise you to re-order the item in the correct size/colour and refund you the cost of the original item once we receive it.
- I have changed my mind and want to return the item ?
You can return your item within 21 days of purchase to receive a no quibble full refund of the purchase cost (this does not include the cost of returning the item) The item must be returned unused and in original packaging with all tags and labels intact. Due to hygiene reasons and strict regulations, socks and underwear are not refundable if worn under any circumstances, unless a fault is found whilst trying the item on (please see `The item I have received is damaged/faulty?? above)
