Basis of sale and availability
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Goods are not supplied on a trial basis. All products (inc. special offers, upgrades, promotions and free gifts) are subject to availability. All illustrations and product descriptions featured in out advertisements, web site or brochures are correct at the time of going to press or web pages going 'live'. Any changes to products will be mentioned on the website or at the time of ordering by mail order. Prices and promotional offers are subject to change without notice. All are subject to availability. Unless we are specifically asked about requirements or compatibility, we shall assume the customer is aware of what these are. In certain circumstances returned items may incur a restocking fee of 20%.
Title of goods
No property or title of the goods shall pass from JB's Music Store to the customer untill payment has been received in full. The customer is responsible for the goods from the time of delivery.
Acceptable orders which have been placed and cleared by 4.30pm weekdays will be shipped that day for expected delivery in Mainland UK during the next working day, (barring systems failure etc). If an order has not cleared in time, JB's Music Store will contact the customer to inform them of any delay. JB's Music Store define ??cleared orders?? as orders that have cleared funds and security checks. All shipments in transit from JB's Music Store are covered by carrier's insurance. The customer's signature will be required at time of receipt and goods cannot be left without such signature.
If we have to part ship an order, due to temporary stock shortage, subsequent part shipments will not carry a delivery charge. We will always try to let you know if an item is out of stock at the time.
Non delivery and damaged goods
The customer's signature will be required at time of receipt and goods cannot be left without such signature. Claims for non delivery, missing items or damage to goods in transit must be made within seven working days of expected delivery. Claims will not be accepted after this time. New goods found to be ??dead on arrival?? or faulty can be returned for replacement or refund. The customer must notify JB's Music Store within seven days of receipt of the goods. The faulty goods will then be collected by JB's Music Store's courier. Failed delivery due to customer (ie customer not present or refused goods) which are returned to JB's Music Store are subject to £15 charge for return. If the same goods are requested to be re-delivered, a minimum charge of £5 will apply.
All products sold by JB's Music Store are guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of purchase, unless specified otherwise. Some products have a three year manufacturer's warranty. JB's Music Store will reserve the right to inspect faulty goods and to verify that the goods are defective before issuing a refund.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Replaceable items such as turntable belts, batteries, lamps, faders and crossfaders, cartridges and styli are classed as consumables - this means they are not covered by this standard guarantee. In general these products can be renewed at little cost.
What if my product doesn't work?
If you have received an item and it fails to operate, then you can return the item to us. We pride ourselves with sorting out any problems quickly and to your satisfaction - we will not leave you stuck! We'll endeavor to return your repaired or replaced product as soon as possible, normally within 7-10 working days.

The following regulations apply to mail order consumers as defined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
The consumer shall have the right to cancel a contract in writing by fax or email within seven working days from the day after the date of delivery of the goods by the company to the consumer.
If a consumer exercises his/her right to cancel a contract, JB`s Music Store shall, in accordance with the Regulations, reimburse any payment (and delivery charge) made by the consumer within 30 days from the day on which they give such notice of cancellation, provided that the consumer;
- takes reasonable care of the goods either prior to cancellation of the contract or, following cancellation and while the goods remain in the possession of the consumer. A consumer shall be deemed not to have taken reasonable care of the goods if such goods are not kept packed in their original box, with all accessories, manuals and cables and the internal or external packaging is defaced or damaged in any way, and;
- the goods are either marked, damaged or not in the same condition in which they were sold.
The consumer is responsible for the cost of returning any unwanted items, or will be responsible for the direct cost of collection of such items. If the consumer fails to return the goods where he has agreed to do so, then the consumer may be charged by JB's Music Store for the cost of collection. We reserve the right to deduct this amount from any refund given.
