Delivery / Returns

Returns policy

At Rutland Leisure Outlet we are committed to ensuring our customersare not just happy but delighted with the quality and value of not just our products but also our service. We aim to achieve 100% buyer satisfaction in all aspects of our sales and aftercare, to help us achieve this and ensure the returns process is as quick and easy as possible please follow the steps below (please note cycle returns differ from accessories so please ensure you read the relevant part).

Accessory/Small Item Returns

Items Received damaged or an "incorrect" item

In this case there is no need to contact us first (though if you need to simply send an email using the "Contact Merchant" button or call us) simply repack the item and most importantly include a cover note with your Order ID number (for example: Rutland Leisure Outlet) , Order ID number (9 digits) and your full name, address and contact number, in this case we will refund your return postage in full and either refund or resend the correct item at your preference. If the item becomes defective within 30 days of receipt

You have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable time, please keep any relevant warranty information/receipt/packaging as required, in some cases a quicker solution may be achieved by contacting the supplier/manufacturer direct , you can of course contact us to obtain manufacturer details if needed. Otherwise simply post back the item to ourselves for an exchange, please ensure you include a cover note with your name, Order ID number and full address and contact number, our return address is:

If the item becomes defective after 30 days of receipt

Please keep any relevant warranty information/receipt/packaging as this may be required, in some cases a quicker solution may be achieved by contacting the supplier/manufacturer direct, you can of course contact us to obtain manufacturer details if needed. Otherwise simply post back the item to ourselves for an exchange. We cannot refund after 30 days we will simply exchange or offer a credit note at our discretion within the warranty period (all of our accessories are usually covered by a 12 month warranty) , please ensure you include a cover note with your name, Order ID number and full address and contact number, our return address is:

Change of mind return

We happily adhere to the distance selling regulations giving our customers 7 days (often referred to as the "cooling off period") from receipt to return products for any reason (as long as they are unused and in original packaging) for a full refund (including initial outward post and packaging costs) however this does not include the buyers return postage costs for sending the item back to ourselves.

Cycle Warranty/Returns

All new boxed cycles supplied by ourselves unless stated are usually covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty; this obviously does not cover wear and tear or punctures etc. If for any reason in the first 7 days of receipt you decide you do not like the bike or it has a problem please contact us directly to arrange collection/replacement parts on 01572 332262, we will only accept a cycle return if it is in an unused condition and repackaged exactly as it was delivered, the bike must also be returned in the same box it was delivered in, if you no longer have the box it was delivered in we can supply one at a cost of £25, the cost of a collection is £15 for most of the Uk , Irish republic / remote areas will be more.

Items generally not covered by any warranty include: crank arm pedal threads (these can only be damaged by pedals not being fitted correctly or left loose) and wheels (wheels can easily become buckled during normal use and should be trued up during the course of general maintenance and servicing).

If any bike is received back in an abused/neglected and or dirty state or with no regard to protect it during transit we will simply return the bike back to you.
