About us:

We are part of a company which has been trading for over seventy years! In this day and age, you do not last that long unless you know your products - and we do! We've specialised in quality home entertainment since 1929. From portable entertainment, budget hi-fi separates and systems to top-flight home cinema set-ups, we set out to provide high standards of service and support, without cheap gimmicks or stuffy pretensions.

Delivery Information:

Delivery is FREE on all items within the the UK Mainland. We use DPD as our courier for larger or more fragile items, who offer a timed delivery service within a 1 hour time slot and the ability to track your item online. Details of these services, where available, will be given in your order confirmation email. Smaller items will be sent by Royal Mail's First Class delivery service.


Returns and Refunds:

We understand that sometimes you realise a product is not for you, and that sometimes equipment can fail. We offer a 7 day, no quibble returns policy. Before returning products to us, please keep them in your possession and take reasonable care of them. When you return products to us (for instance, because you are a consumer and have cancelled the Contract between us within 7 working days of receipt of the products, or because the product(s) are defective), we will examine the returned products and will notify you of whether you are entitled to a refund. We will notify you by email and within a reasonable period of time. We will refund any money received from you to via the Play system, so the refund will then be actioned by Play to the payment method you used to make the origianl purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible. In any case, we will process the refund within 30 days of the day we received your cancellation or the day we confirmed to you via email that you were entitled to a refund for delivery of the defective products.

Products returned by you because of a defect from new, will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us. 

If you are a consumer and have used the right to cancel (set out above) to cancel the Contract between us within 7 working days of receiving the products, we will refund you in full, including the cost of sending the item to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
