Who are we?

notonlybowls came about when a web designer was trying to buy some items for bowls online in 2004. All the websites in those days were truly awful and we decided to do it ourselves, firstly as onlybowls, then from 2007 as notonlybowls. The rest, as they say, is history....

So many people are selling clothing and shoes for sport that we decided not to, so we concentrated on the things people need for sport instead. That has been our niche and speciality ever since. We do sell a few items of clothing, such as swim caps, beanies and socks, but not many.

In this business you can tell good sellers - especially the ones who have been around for a while - from their feedback rating. It is difficult to maintain a good rating over a long period and you can only do it by offering a good service. We are proud of our feedback ratings on the various selling channels that we use.

Your goods don't arrive

We usually send orders out the same day, or the next working day. You should have the goods within a week of placing your order. If we do have a problem of any kind, we will get in touch as soon as we become aware of the problem. If your goods are late, we suggest that you contact your local Royal Mail sorting office first. Many times we find that the item could not be delivered, but they couldn't or didn't leave a card and the package is taken back to the sorting office.

Especially in winter, when bad weather is being mentioned on the news, allow a bit more time in case your package has been delayed somewhere en-route. If those things fail, do contact us. We will tell you the deadline date for your order, after which time Royal Mail regard the package as lost in the post. We will explain that if the deadline day arrives but the goods haven't, we will either reship or refund your order (your choice).

Any problems with your order

Get in touch, explain the issue and we will deal with it as quickly and efficiently as we can. If we have made a mistake and we need you to send the goods back, we will give you a Freepost address.

Our return address is above, but contact us before sending goods back, so that we can give you a returns number to identify your package.
